Maryborough Nursing Home
Maryborough Nursing Home was opened in October 2004 by the Minister for Aged Care, Gavin Jennings, MLC. The residential care facility comprises 40 beds providing high level care to members of our community who require expert nursing and supportive care. We also provide specialised Palliative Care with staff who have undergone specialist training in this area.
The facility been specifically designed to meet the needs of high level care residents, with private spacious bedrooms with en suite, community lounge and extensive patio areas. There is a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator five days a week who designs a full program of activities tailored to residents’ needs and wishes.
Prior to admission, potential residents and family members are orientated to the facility and encouraged to contribute information that will assist the transition from community life to residential care and assist staff in providing excellent care to optimise independence and ensure resident satisfaction.
Enquiries and inspections are welcome.
