Without the generosity and support of the local community, it would be difficult for MDHS to achieve important improvements to facilities and services across the organisation.

No donation is too small in assisting MDHS achieve its goals of building services and facilities for the local community.

Many local community groups make regular donations to all campuses of MDHS, to enable purchases of much needed equipment to assist service delivery or improve facilities.

"Pyrenees Magic" is the local cycle team who each year participate in the gruelling "Murray to Moyne" bike ride to raise funds for MDHS.  Each year, the team's efforts consistently raise over $15,000, which has enabled the purchase of such equipment for MDHS as a Cardiotocography (CTG) for the Maternity Unit, an automatic, extra wide glass door to access the Medical Imaging department and two monitors for use within the theatre recovery area.  Last year, the funds were used to purchase a flexible cystoscope for Theatre.

The Pyrenees Magic will this year again be undertaking the Murray to Moyne bike ride to raise funds for MDHS.  We wish them all the very best in their ride on 28-29 March!
