MDHS acknowledges that family violence is a widespread issue and that the hospital is potentially an early contact point for many people who have experienced or are experiencing family violence. Health professionals are in a unique position to identify indicators of family violence and offer an empathetic and professional response.
Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS) and Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS)
