Today, we can happily report that we have re-opened the Avoca Residential Community and residents have safely returned home.

Last Thursday we made the decision to temporarily close our aged care facility and our primary care clinic in Avoca due to the bushfire situation in the Pyrenees region.

The safety and wellbeing of our aged care residents was our utmost priority. Residents were relocated to our hospital and aged care facilities in Maryborough and Dunolly and have been well cared for and content for the last week.

Residents, and staff, are settling in well and getting back to their regular routines. Families and carers have been part of the coordinated process every step of the way.
